Meanings:
This motif is inspired by the Simpor plant (Dillenia Suffruticosa) which is a typical plant of Belitung. Simpor leaves are usually used for wrapping food as it has a distinctive fragrant. Simpor plant symbolises wisdom and universal love. The distinct shape of Simpor plant signifies the regeneration of life, harmony, and mutual respects between youngsters and elders. The motif also represents the flexibility of Belitung society and high level of respect towards diversity.
