'‘Kasih Tak Sampai’ is an idiom in the Indonesian language which refers to two different meanings of “forbearing love” and “unrequited love”. In the context of Riau Batik, this motif means a forbearing love of parents towards the child. Riau parents are expected not to spoil and show excessive love for their children in order to build children’s strong mentality and resilience.
