Brief Story:

Yogyakarta is not just the city of education, this city is the most magnificent cultural spot in Java. Yogyakarta also has a batik village, namely the Ngasem batik village. Ngasem Batik Village is located in the Yogyakarta palace area, called “Ndalem Beten“.  The motifs that are presented also vary, ranging from classic motifs to modern ones. When visiting the village,  you can also learn with local artisans and participate in the process of Batik making such as pattern handwriting, stamping, and coloring process.
